I’m not having a baby shower. They’re not invited to the hospital room, or the hospital in general when I’m in labor. They’re not invited to come see DD until I’ve been at home for a few days.

I know it sounds horrible, but I have no interest in over extending myself to people who barely give me the time of day or reciprocate zero interest in me as a human being.

I won’t see you at Thanksgiving, or Christmas. As far as I’m concerned you’re not my family and you’re DH’s. [/quote]
