Our kids are learning what the important things are in life...family, education, and giving back.  Yes, they see on their Instagram feed that all their friends are going to ridiculously extravagant places, but they just have to deal with it.  It is interesting that a lot of the kids who are going on fancy vacations are their public school friends.  I guess it is because they have more disposable income to use for that purpose.  Either way, we can afford it, but like I said, I am a homebody and don't need that level of stimulation to be happy.
