Why is anyone surprised the by reaction?[/quote] This is what is confusing. Why do this in a way that shows disrespect for the flag, the national anthem, and all that represents? Why not institute a time before the game in which all who wish to can take a knee and pray for the end of racial inequality in the US? I think that would send a strong and clear message which would not end up getting muddied with the whole issue of showing disrespect for the flag and the anthem. The players have an important message which is not being focused on because of the lack of respect issue. [/quote]
