Evans and Hynes started this mess and probably have done more damage to the community than necessary.  They started with a predetermined outcome, and tried to manipulate the system to achieve that outcome.

Had they just said from the beginning that they were going to change the name, they would have ticked people off but it would have been over.  Instead, they tried to make it look like the community desired the change.  The majority did not desire the change.  Now, they have given Braband a mess to clean up.

Dollars to doughnuts, they change the rules again and have a run off because the results were not what they desired.  And, to those saying it should be Johns or Marshall (two poor choices for reasons other than the people those names represent), the majority also did not support those names.
