What happened to this poor girl was horrible, and the man who did this was despicable.  That's a separate issue than what you're talking about. If you are going to demonize all men, maybe first our society needs to stop calling boys who are not aggressive "gay" and bullying them.  Maybe telling boys it's ok to cry and be affectionate in the same way as girls and that you don't need to be tough to be a "real man" would be a good start.  Maybe we would see a reduction in violent crimes by men.  Like I said, this is a separate issue than what happened to this poor girl.  So many people on this thread have taken this as an opportunity to bash hispanics as a whole and now your bashing men.  How about we focus on toning down all the acrimony, and by getting back to being more civil we can create a better place for all of us to live.[/quote]

Beating a young woman to death and dumping her body in a pond is the OPPOSITE of being a "real man".  That is how a low life coward behaves.  That is a person who chooses a smaller, less physically strong person to abuse and kill.  That is not how a real man behaves.  In fact, real men don't go around beating the cr*p out of people like a low life thug.[/quote]
