What happened to this poor girl was horrible, and the man who did this was despicable. That's a separate issue than what you're talking about. If you are going to demonize all men, maybe first our society needs to stop calling boys who are not aggressive "gay" and bullying them. Maybe telling boys it's ok to cry and be affectionate in the same way as girls and that you don't need to be tough to be a "real man" would be a good start. Maybe we would see a reduction in violent crimes by men. Like I said, this is a separate issue than what happened to this poor girl. So many people on this thread have taken this as an opportunity to bash hispanics as a whole and now your bashing men. How about we focus on toning down all the acrimony, and by getting back to being more civil we can create a better place for all of us to live.


Beating a young woman to death and dumping her body in a pond is the OPPOSITE of being a "real man". That is how a low life coward behaves. That is a person who chooses a smaller, less physically strong person to abuse and kill. That is not how a real man behaves. In fact, real men don't go around beating the cr*p out of people like a low life thug.

It's kind of like gun violence. Americans are so used to it that they don't bat an eye when over a thousand children die by gun deaths each year. But one illegal immigrant or Muslim who kills one other person? Then it's big news.

I'm imagining being black in SE or PG and wondering where is the outrage its a shame these things happen at least a month over there so it's not news anymore

Facts, there were 111 murders in the area (DMV) in 2017 most people were murdered by (as you would expect) men, white/black/Hispanic/Asian. The only one anybody is talking about is the few committed by a Hispanic men because it is fun to be racist against Hispanics now that Trump is president. There is nothing bigoted here. I want that 'bigot' poster to come back and apologize when it does in fact, turn out that the murderer was associated with MS13.

Nobody is being a bigot. PPs have commented based on the area and the circumstances. MS13 is a mainly Central American gang. MS13 is also becoming more active in Fairfax and Montgomery county due to policies that are in places in those counties and due to an influx of immigrants from countries where MS13 is already active.

Most children that are abused and neglected do not become murderers... but most murderers were sexually, physically, emotionally abused or severely neglected.
