[/quote] No the blame lies solely with the perpetrator. Period. End of story. He fired off 100 rounds in two minutes before even the first police arrived. The majority of the kids were already dead or dying and a faster intervention may not have saved anyone. No one on the DCUM knows for sure. I also don’t blame the weapon, but the shooter. All you have to look at is what happened in Bath, Mi in 1927 where a demented person killed more children than Uvalde. Every death is tragic and believe it or not, I am for some forms of gun control, but eliminating the method of murder is really not going to reduce the crime. Demented folks will always find a way. Timothy McViegh certainly did without ever firing a shot. [/quote]
