Mr. Hegseth brings none of that experience.   He came to his hearing unprepared and with no familiarity of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, a group with strong US ties (in other words, dude doesn't even know who our friends are in a strategically important global theater).     In contrast---just so you know that I am not reflexively anti any Trump appointee, Marco Rubio IS qualified to be Secretary of State.   [/quote]
