It’s a boring ass divorce story. Why would she think it would sell? At least the cookbook had pretty photos. We don’t even know who the other woman is. If Jamie Ivey gets divorced and spills the deets, that could sell. Brandon’s shittiness is too run of the mill.
I know who the other woman is. for a while I wondered if it was Tina, but soon found out that it was not her. —I feel like someone needs to speak up, just to add a little truth into the mix. I’m not particularly close with Brandon anymore, and honestly, I’m not even much of a fan these days. But facts are facts. The picture that’s being painted of him as some kind of alcoholic just doesn’t match the person I’ve known in the recent years. Sure, he and Tina enjoy drinks when they’re on vacation or out on a weekend—like a lot of people do—but that’s not the same as having a problem. Both of them work full-time demanding jobs—Tina’s some type of nurse, and Brandon works on a multi-million dollar ranch. They’re hardworking people who know how to enjoy their time off without it being excessive. Or maybe they are excessive on some occasions as is most of the post that you see on everyone's Instagram. Regarding the timeline of when he and Tina got together—there’s been a lot of twisting of that too. The truth is, the divorce had already been filed when they started dating. (it's public record) It wasn’t finalized yet, but that was largely due to financial delays. (Brandon mentions this in one of his recent post's) - Even Jen admits in her book that some of the dates aren’t exact, which should raise some questions about how reliable the rest of the story is. The last time I saw Brandon and Tina together, they seemed genuinely happy. And from what I’ve heard, since Jen started promoting the book, their relationship seems even stronger. It hasn’t had the effect I think Jen might have hoped for. If she was expecting this to destroy his marriage, throw a wrench in their life, or even stir up resentment from his kids again—that’s clearly not what’s happening. Honestly, I feel bad for Tina in all of this. She’s had to sit back while someone else's version of the past gets turned into entertainment for strangers, and she’s handled it with a lot of grace. It’s not easy to be one of the target's of someone else’s narrative. Everyone’s allowed to tell their story—but that doesn’t mean it’s the whole truth. Sometimes what people leave out says just as much as what they include. Sit on that for while...... Even though I’m no longer connected to Brandon, I truly hope he writes a book one day—one that tells the full truth, with real dates and facts. Not out of hurt or to make a dollar, but just to finally clear things up. Mostly just to show that it's not always 100% the husband's fault when a marriage comes crumbling down.
Hi Brandon!
