Hey Brandon. If you want to come in here and try to sell your bullshit, you should be aware that your strip club adventures, and the barely out of college stripper/hooker that you had an affair with and spent thousands of dollars on and fell in love with and got dumped by, were not as discreet as you think they were. It is really in your best interest to shut your yap at this point because plenty of us in your local area know the whole story. And about your drunk driving adventures too.

We don’t even know who the other woman is. If Jamie Ivey gets divorced and spills the deets, that could sell. Brandon’s shittiness is too run of the mill.

I’m not particularly close with Brandon anymore, and honestly, I’m not even much of a fan these days. But facts are facts. The picture that’s being painted of him as some kind of alcoholic just doesn’t match the person I’ve known in the recent years. Sure, he and Tina enjoy drinks when they’re on vacation or out on a weekend—like a lot of people do—but that’s not the same as having a problem. Both of them work full-time demanding jobs—Tina’s some type of nurse, and Brandon works on a multi-million dollar ranch. They’re hardworking people who know how to enjoy their time off without it being excessive. Or maybe they are excessive on some occasions as is most of the post that you see on everyone's Instagram.
Regarding the timeline of when he and Tina got together—there’s been a lot of twisting of that too. The truth is, the divorce had already been filed when they started dating. (it's public record) It wasn’t finalized yet, but that was largely due to financial delays. (Brandon mentions this in one of his recent post's) - Even Jen admits in her book that some of the dates aren’t exact, which should raise some questions about how reliable the rest of the story is.
The last time I saw Brandon and Tina together, they seemed genuinely happy. And from what I’ve heard, since Jen started promoting the book, their relationship seems even stronger. It hasn’t had the effect I think Jen might have hoped for. If she was expecting this to destroy his marriage, throw a wrench in their life, or even stir up resentment from his kids again—that’s clearly not what’s happening.
Honestly, I feel bad for Tina in all of this. She’s had to sit back while someone else's version of the past gets turned into entertainment for strangers, and she’s handled it with a lot of grace. It’s not easy to be one of the target's of someone else’s narrative.
Everyone’s allowed to tell their story—but that doesn’t mean it’s the whole truth. Sometimes what people leave out says just as much as what they include.
Sit on that for while......
Even though I’m no longer connected to Brandon, I truly hope he writes a book one day—one that tells the full truth, with real dates and facts. Not out of hurt or to make a dollar, but just to finally clear things up. Mostly just to show that it's not always 100% the husband's fault when a marriage comes crumbling down.

And Julie's apology was nearly perfect until she had to mention that the BOLDED reference to her in Jen's book, BOLDLY stating that Julie had contacted her kids (not the other way around, which is how it actually played out) was a little self-serving on Julie's part.
Jen wrote in the intro the usual boilerplate "some of these events have been altered for continuity, etc" but it was useless as 85% of the book's content was public already.
What else in the book was wrong/untrue/in error? Maybe this is why the book fell flat for me, too. She continues to proclaim enlightenment but is delusional and talks out of both sides of her mouth. It's kind of hypocritical.
Anonymous wrote:Did y'all see Julie Roys' public apology today for breaking the news of the Hatmaker divorce? That was gracious of her. Julie Roys has done an incredible job of exposing predators in the church, and was instrumental in recently bringing forth the stories about DECADES of abuse/rape/etc by Michael Tait of the Newsboys.

LAST WEEK: -
WEEKS ON LIST: 1
PUB DATE: Sep 2025
UNITS SOLD: 28,905
YTD: 28,905
A little worse than I predicted but not bad. Fierce sold 17,000 its first week so this is a bit of a return to form. Keep in mind that For the Love sold over 300,000 copies so she’s never going to get to those heights again, though. I think Week 2 will be a steep drop off as Jen is a huge front loader who hasn’t had a lot of “legs” since the For The Love/7 days . Total sales after six months might be something like 60,000 to 65,000.
