The lawyers for United made the settlement under the conditions that Dr. Dao not reveal the details to anyone not directly involved in the agreement (e.g. Dr. Dao, his family, United, it's officers and their lawyers). If he does, he breaches the settlement agreement and probably has to forfeit and return the settlement amount or some such clause. The repercussions of revealing confidential settlement information are usually very severe and not worth it to the parties involved.[/quote]
