And I firmly believe the family did it. I just don't put much stock in this part of it. I think the fact that parents did not wake up to all the clatter and moving about in the night makes the entire thing so implausible it's impossible. The killer could not have done all this in the dark first of all. And I could never sleep through steps up and down the stairs, banging of doors, lights on and off, the fridge opening and closing... I mean, come on. Also, why were they not all packed and ready to go that morning? All their stuff should've been in the car already. They pushed the timeline too far. [/quote]
