That is the most ridiculous, pretentious and privileged comment I have seen in awhile. You obviously have no clue how anything works. I agree about the club lacrosse helping tremendously with recruiting. But everything else you said is so wrong, and adds to the stigma of those that go to private schools, are just self indulged, isolated, and stuck up.

10% of American HS students attend a private HS.  Look at any lacrosse roster.  Probably 75-80% private schools.  [/quote]

He's not misinformed. College rosters are anywhere from 45-55 players. After the first 20, the player better have excellent grades and the family the ability to pay the tuition. Our stellar public school system is less likely to produce a player with both excellent grades and the ability to pay. College coaches save a lot of time by taking the path of least resistance.
