There's so much to unpack here. [i]No one[/i] who opposes this dangerously kooky family takes any pleasure in the fact that at least five little girls were sexually assaulted. Many of us who oppose fundamentalist and patriarchal religions do not do so froma place of hate, but because we know - some of first hand - that this kind of terrible outcome is a natural consequence to fetishizing sex and religion. I think that many people like you held the feeling that these were good, traditional values folks just living their religion, especially if you never looked very closely at their religious beliefs and their politicking. I think it's very hard for some of you to realize that we "insane" "foaming at the mouth" "hate-filled" "libtards" (and I'm quoting several PPs for this wondrously open-minded namecallin, not just you) are right that this kind of religion is toxic to everyone, and perhaps we're right about other social issues, too.
