Is it possible that BB and AP paid JR to kill CB? That may have been part of their plan, without JR knowing that they will kill him to leave no witness.
This was my first thought when the AP was charged, but it does not seem that there is evidence to support that theory at this time. There is a missing piece to the story for certain. If the police truly believe this was second degree murder by the AP that means that they don't have evidence that the AP shooting Ryan was premeditated/pre-planned. But the story the AP told the police and all that was related in court does not match up with this not being premeditated/pre-planned. I think there is still something big missing - I'm just not sure what. I feel like it's possible Brendan Banfield planned to frame Ryan and the AP and daughter weren't supposed to be in the house? I don't know. All I do know is that Brendan Banfield and the AP are cold as ice.
For sure. The other interesting thing from the bond hearing is that the Au pair’s attorney said he’s been asking for her things back (from police) since this summer. So, contrary to what AP told her mother (the case being closed and LE not considering her as a suspect), she’s had legal counsel since at least this summer. Seems like if she wasn’t involved at all, she would have been pushing her attorney this summer to get LE off her back so she could leave the US and move on with her life.
And why did she even have an attorney?
Who wouldn't under these circumstances?
Well, if she were innocent, didn’t pull the trigger, and the case was closed… All things she told her mother.
Oh, my sweet summer child. Based on what has been reported, BB and AP did numerous inexplicable things. Retaining counsel isn't one of them. Another topic that hasn't been brought up is that: The Treasury Inspector General For Tax Administration (TIGTA) investigates allegations of IRS employee misconduct. It's a bit of an interesting question if he spoke with TIGTA. I wonder if he's a member of FLEOA. Generally, if an IRS agent uses force they are required to memorialize the circumstances related to the use of force. Then they are interviewed by TIGTA. In such a situation, FLEOA might assign an attorney to represent that agent for the administrative part of the investigation. IMO, FLEOA wouldn't staff an attorney for any criminal exposure he has.
