SWAT is coming into the school with loaded rifles. They need students contained so they are mistaken for the shooter till the arrest is made. SWAT isn’t going to pause or announce to teachers where they are in the building and which classrooms they are going to search first.

If your child has a blood sugar issues, they should keep extra snacks in their backpack. Use trash cans as toilets if necessary. The goal in a lockdown is to keep students alive. Wondering the halls for bathroom breaks or serving snacks is not applicable to that goal.[/quote]

Seriously. To the “kids need snacks - their lives may depend on it!” and “omg peeing in a trash can is mortifying!” posters apparently getting shot IS a better alternative.

Could you even imagine if they had let just one kid go to the bathroom and he was shot too?  Would these posters still be talking about inconsequential stuff?
