Your premise is flawed. The checks and balances for USAID spending have clearly failed. It makes sense that all the agency IG’s were fired. They were clearly ok with the status quo. Politicians have forgotten that they are stewards of taxpayer dollars, not owners. The cuts are harsh, and should be more targeted, but are needed.[/quote]
