How will it go ? By Tuesday Barrett will be Justice Barrett.
Yep. And when your daughter has a miscarriage - and they won't be able to extract the fetal tissue. She will die a miserable death. And you will remember your excitement over this nomination - and a part of you will hate yourself.
You are one sick puppy. This isn’t going to happen. Stop the fear-mongering. It’s truly repulsive. DP
You realize Judge Barret has no issue with criminalizing abortions, right?
This is absolute BS and you know it. Provide a specific link that proves your ridiculous claim. “Since 1973 Democrats have been scaring American voters that every Republican Supreme Court nominee would overturn Roe v. Wade, and here we are nearly 50 years later and Roe v. Wade is still intact," said Mike Davis, president of the Article III Project, a group that supports Trump's nominees. "Judge Barrett, someone who is clearly pro-life, has also clearly demonstrated on her three years on the 7th Circuit that she can separate her personal views from her judicial decision making," he said.
Overturning or otherwise limiting Roe v. Wade as much as possible has been the explicit platform of most of the Republican Party for about 40 years. They also are extremely disingenuous about it, as shown in the above quote. If she decides against Roe v. Wade, she will not say, "it's my personal opinion" and she will not say, "I can't change it, I am just an appellate judge," She will say, "Roe was wrongly decided, we reverse today because we can do that, Constitution blah, blah..." Roe has been intact for 50 years because there weren't 5 justices who had both the desire and legal (not personal) opinions to do it. Until today. And the states that want reversal are already lining up their cases.
