Anyone who actually lives in Arlington knows that Wakefield is a very good high school. It does have a large population of immigrants and lower S ES students. The population of middle-class children is growing and will continue to grow. The farms population is only 10% higher than WL. As more middle-class young families move in, Wakefield will begin to look more like a WL in about 10 to 15 years. Some think sooner. I'm fine either way, as my child excels anywhere. We prioritize our time together as a family. That's the very best choice we can make for our kids. It's a shame when people let fear get in the way of family.[/quote]
