Parents need to put pressure on the schools to do lice checks and hold sessions to teach parents how to handle it.  Maybe have a school wide lice clinic - Screening and affordable removal help if needed.[/quote]

The schools will only send the same useless letter home.

This year they don't even send home for live bugs.

It's disgusting.  We get a notice almost weekly that some kid in one of my kids' classes has lice.

Zero done to prevent the spread and serious inconvenience to other households.

My Aunts school gave every kid a large clear zip up bag...kids store coats, hats, backpacks in them.  They got the lice to zero.[/quote]
