Students should be accepted individually for what they have accomplished, who they are as an individual.  I would think that being accepted because of a race-based admission preference would be "demeaning" for them.   I'm sorry, but the child of a CEO or even a law partner pulling down several million $ annually is pretty advantaged already.  S/he doesn't need a further advantage in the admission process.[/quote]
