The shark pictures airing today show about 4 or so sharks in ankle deep water.   It looks like wading in to the ankles is not safe.  Google and see for yourself.  [/quote]

they can drag you out even if you are in ankle deep water...especially if you are a kid. besides, you may live but no one wants to get bitten by a shark/possibly lose appendages/skin in the first place[/quote]
