Agreed. I have no idea what kind of families the other PPs belong to, but it's like we don't even live on the same planet. Half of these PPs are just bizarre people.

I guess you all don't value your parents' time, energy and their emotional investment in your random, casual boyfriends/girlfriends? You don't respect them enough to keep away people who aren't at least 70% likely to become a real part of your parents' life? Ok. Glad I wasn't raise in a family like the rest of the PPs then!

All the bleeding hearts and angry strippers in this thread are taking the lazy way out and accusing us of being close-minded, judgmental or somehow unfair. Nobody is saying strippers are evil people. All people are inherently good and worthy of living a happy life. I hope all strippers find happiness. However, that doesn't mean I'm going to risk the well-being of my own family member. I am not blind to statistics. Strippers may not be evil. They ARE, however, [i]significantly more likely to be very damaged people[/i]. By the exemplary logic exhibited in this thread, I guess all of you PPs wouldn't mind your daughters dating narcoterrorists from Honduras because why judge the young man on the basis of hundreds of other violent drug-dealers in his position? Keep an open mind! He might not belong to a gang like MS-13 or eventually destroy your precious daughter's life! Why not risk her happiness for the sake of being politically correct and open-minded?
