I saw a news story about a woman who was date raped as a student and UVA did nothing. Then maybe ten or fifteen years later her rapist couldn't live with the guilt and apologized to her. By then the statute of limitations had run out so nothing happened to him.[/quote]

Liz Securro wrote a book about her experience. After Beebe "apologized" to her, she discovered 2 other guys were also involved in the rape.

Holy shit. I hadn't previously heard about this case. How can UVA deny that this is a serious, serious institutional problem in Charlottesville? If
