I'm 31 and I look great so I couldn't tell you.
Take lots of selfies now. It'll come.
31 yo pp here. I keep hearing people say that kids will age you. I have two kids ( 3 yo and 6 mo). For the women that have aged due to kids...what ages were your kids when the bulk of the aging occurred?
You are so obnoxious. No it's not about kids, it's about age. As you will be forty soon, and fifty etc, if you are lucky and don't die sooner. Ad it will happen much much more quickly than you can imagine. When you are 30 it feels like your whole life is in front of you. At 40, you understand your best years are gone.
Gosh I hope that's not true - I'm 43 and I try not to think that way, like the best years are behind me. Too depressing. Because there's no good alternative to aging, you know? We should just be grateful for each day we have our health.
I think that in your 40's you do begin to realize (if you haven't already) that your youth is pretty much behind you. It's not that 40 and beyond is bad. It's just a different stage in your life. I love the wild, spontaneity of my 20's, even the struggling to make ends meet on almost no money. I also enjoyed my 30's - buying a house, getting married, having our kids. My 40's have been fun, too. The kids are older, not too many stresses, life is pretty easy now. Our 50's will see our kids all the way through highschool and into college - empty nest time, I have mixed emotions at the thought of that actually. 60's will be (hopefully!) retirement - where will we live? Will we travel? 70's maybe we'll become grandparents (!)...we'll have to see what life brings :). But, yes, lots to look forward to even at my old age.
