I went to see a new doctor who told me not to worry about testing for something because it's not really necessary until later. She was shocked when I told her how old I was. She looked at my forms again to double check. (Why, I don't know?) Then advised me to get the test. Some women really do look younger. (No, I don't look like a twenty year old, but I'm routinely mistaken for someone ten years younger. TBH, it has it's bad points.)

LOL! You and every other middle aged mom on here. A bunch of unicorns running around!

There is no 38 yo celebrity/model who looks 20. None. Yet, you do.
Well people say I look like a celebrity, also!

Take lots of selfies now. It'll come.
31 yo pp here.
I keep hearing people say that kids will age you.
I have two kids ( 3 yo and 6 mo).
For the women that have aged due to kids...what ages were your kids when the bulk of the aging occurred?
You are so obnoxious. No it's not about kids, it's about age. As you will be forty soon, and fifty etc, if you are lucky and don't die sooner. Ad it will happen much much more quickly than you can imagine. When you are 30 it feels like your whole life is in front of you. At 40, you understand your best years are gone.
Gosh I hope that's not true - I'm 43 and I try not to think that way, like the best years are behind me. Too depressing. Because there's no good alternative to aging, you know? We should just be grateful for each day we have our health.

No, I don't look 30, but I don't look like what people expect 50-year-olds to look like either. I care about what I look like so I work hard to keep myself in great shape. I've worked out since my 20s. I like clothes and makeup. I take care of my skin. Most of my friends look good for their ages, but I know a few who just don't care what they look like. On one hand, I think that must be very liberating. On the other, I get a lot of energy into holding myself all together and can't imagine letting everything go! Everyone ages, it's your attitude and your energy that will keep you feeling good. My parents are very youthful and energetic in their mid-70s and I hope I can do the same.
That is called being polite. However I'm sure you look great for 52. Women who take care of themselves do look great for their age.

I used to look pretty young for my age, and now I'd say I look a little older than my age. I guess lack of sleep (son is NOT a good sleeper), stress (he had colic and still has a very challenging temperament), and eating too much sugar (stress response) have really done a number on me. I still feel attractive, but definitely like I've aged. I hope it slows down.

They're lying to you.
