Why is it a GOOD thing for America that it is fast becoming a country of bi-racial individuals?  I don't see it as GOOD or BAD; it just is.  Saying mixed race families are GOOD for America can be construed as it being BAD that we maintain same race families.  What do I say to my child who has two DARK SKIN parents when someone like you says that mixed race families are GOOD for America? Are you saying that because mixed race children are the "acceptable minority"? Are you saying that because the "exotic look" of a mixed race child is what is generally accepted?  It just doesn't make sense.  What would be GOOD is tolerance and understanding of every race and ethnicity.[/quote]
