Your venting here is not going to make a dent. Your yelp review will. You can just mention that ask about the prices before you get the service. I have started doing it as I make appointments over the phone. I will unashamedly ask what the rate is. And if the rate is on the website, I will confirm if the price is current. Service providers are hiking their prices all the time now and you need to ask. Also, stop patronizing the expensive salons. Let them lose customers. Go to hair cuttery type of places and get your trim from there - especially if you have an uncomplicated hair cut. Also, learn to use a store bought box color for your hair. FFS - it is not hard.
