She works for herself. I guess she can charge whatever she wants. But I won’t use her again obviously. And yeah I get that it’s an easy cut. I have gotten this same cut in many places and even in the nicest places haven’t been charged that much. But lesson learned.
Please write a yelp review. Your venting here is not going to make a dent. Your yelp review will. You can just mention that ask about the prices before you get the service. I have started doing it as I make appointments over the phone. I will unashamedly ask what the rate is. And if the rate is on the website, I will confirm if the price is current.
Service providers are hiking their prices all the time now and you need to ask. Also, stop patronizing the expensive salons. Let them lose customers. Go to hair cuttery type of places and get your trim from there - especially if you have an uncomplicated hair cut. Also, learn to use a store bought box color for your hair. FFS - it is not hard. What do you have to lose?
