They already have. Trump and the republicans believe in “zones of influence” as per New National Defense Strategy. This means the US can do anything(target and murder civilians, blow of boats in territorial or international waters, take any cargo it want without compensation, etc.) within its declared zone. China and Europe can do the same. Sorry Taiwan. Russia being a weak and poor country is not able to project power and therefore can not control a zone.

So yes this is the new world order. The free navigation of the seas and rule of law are no more. When the US invades and occupies Venezuela we will be able to extract oil without paying royalties to the locals. We also can take anything.[/quote]

So, just to recap:  you and your fellow Democrats, who are clutching your pearls because the U.S. actually decided to ACT, are supporters of the Maduro regime.  As if we didn’t already know that.

Recent Nobel Prize winner, Maria Corina Machado has only praise for the actions of the Trump administration.

OSLO—Venezuela’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate praised the U.S. seizure of an oil tanker off her country’s coast, saying it was necessary to choke the finances of the Maduro regime to aid the fight for democracy.

Speaking in Oslo a day after she completed her daring escape from Venezuela, opposition leader María Corina Machado evaded reporters’ questions about possible U.S. military action against her country, but said President Trump had shown the regime, for the first time, that its actions wouldn’t go unpunished.

Gosh, how stupid to take people at their word!  One of you was saying they hope that Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran take out one of OUR ships.  Trump's action here was completely legal and absolutely necessary.  But because "Trump" did it (and not, say, Biden), you reflexively have to condemn his actions.  I suggest you educate yourself.

Well if you don't support the invasion of Venezuela, you are pro-Hamas according to Venezuelan opposition leader and Nobel peace prize winner Maria Corina Machado.

She has claimed Hamas was active in her country when the question of a US invasion was raised.
