And what? It was a response to PP's statement that the Pope is against this administration's actions. On immigration, yes and probably SNAP and housing assistance changes but this administration and the catholic Church are lockstep on certain things.[/quote]

the Catholic church is way behind on reproductive rights and women's rights.  But it is the Catholic church. They move at a snail's pace in terms of making progress in that regard.

It remains true that this is not a conservative Pope.  He has  ministered to the poor and stood up for poor migrants as Jesus instructed us all to do.[/quote]
