Child IQ is more strongly correlated with mother's IQ than father's [/quote] Correlated yes, but not inherited more strongly than the father IQ. It does make some sense as in general children spend more time with mothers than fathers. It’s the nurture vs nature argument.[/quote] Whether it's nature or nurture, it's still not wrong to say intelligence is on the mother. That may be a statement of an unfair reality, but still a statement of reality. (Maybe saying "intelligence is thanks to the mother" would be kinder?)[/quote]
