True and the more important aspect of this is that non citizens that are in the US and somehow able to vote, would by majority support the candidates of the political party that has a stronger stance on border security and limiting the amount of non citizens entering the country. They don't want the bad apple gang members here making them look bad and they don't want job competition that comes from more undocumented people seeking employment in the same lines of work.
