I personally don’t like this. I believe they need to divest. It’s a conflict of interest just to advise the government at such a high level and own certain stocks. The prohibitions on stocks at my agency are high. Even my parents and children can’t own those stocks. I wish Congress were subject to such restrictions m. [/quote]

Do you know how many nonprofit think tanks provide advice/proposals/suggestions to the government for free?  Think Center for American Progress.
Do you know how many consultant firms are paid to make these proposals?  Think McKinsey and PWC.

Do you have the same issue with all of them?  That is what this is.

And don't get me wrong.  I hate this too.  But it is just a more terrifying version of something that has existed forever, on both sides of the aisle.[/quote]
