Nobody said there would be massive deportations of naturalized citizens. Stop scaring people. They could leave the country for no reason, or worse. It's a dangerous thing to do.

He didn't offer a lot of specifics. Historically, the federal government has not put a lot of effort into identifying people who fraudulently obtained citizenship (e.g. lied about criminal records). It could be as simple as them putting more effort into finding people who lied on their applications. Or it could go further into trying to argue any Democrats are communists and therefore ineligible for naturalization. The former seems far more likely immediately. The latter seems like something that will take a long time to get to logistically and politically. As a naturalized citizen, I'm not thrilled, but not panicking yet, nor do I support spreading panic among people like me. We don't need that right now.[/quote]
