Who is the "them" that you are volunteering to do this?  You are basically saying I want somewhat else to spend time collecting money, shopping, transporting each time.  You are not willing to do it even once.[/quote]

Who organized the sign-up genius? Who provides the list of permitted snacks? Who looks at the sign-up genius to see who has signed and hasn't? Who comes on DCUM to complain about the parents who didn't sign up?

How about that person use the time they are spending on trying to force other people to do a think they don't want to do and don't care about, instead spend the exact same amount of money soliciting money from parents and then setting up an Amazon subcribe-and-save to deliver the Cheetos and Pirate's Booty and Capri Suns and what have you, which apparently are essential to your child's diet, to the school for after school activities.

See -- more efficient. And you can still brag about how you are better than all the other parents because you volunteered for this important task and it would never happen without you. It's a win-win.[/quote]
