She wasn’t demanding or pushy. She was taking her kids to see a movie they requested. She invited ILs to come along, on her dime, and gave them more than an hour to decide. If you think that’s “pushy,” you have issues.[/quote]

Inviting someone and offering to pay is a nice thing to do. Hemming and hawing for more than an hour, saying no, then grousing at the last moment even though OP said you can still come along you’ll just have to buy your tickets at the kiosk—come on, that’s rude. [/quote]
