It’s not improving anytime soon. There’s a large class of brazen underclass people who are mostly men and will continue to terrorize the city. Eventually living so close to these people has consequences. You used to be able to hide in NW, but now you can’t. It was very obvious during the 2020 protests that DC did not have a good future ahead. The city government has shown time and time again it does not value education and safety. This is very obvious.
