What I think actually happened though is that they just don't want her out too long while she's covering and they denied a longer vacation. She's upset because she's traveling to the wedding anyway and wants to make it longer to save on travel costs and her boss said it was too long to go without coverage. That sucks too but it's not unreasonable on her employer's part. If I'm wrong then OP can clarify. [/quote]
