In public school, so it’s not grade deflation. My kid just adores multiple choice tests. (Also: speed-driven board games and card games, Quiz Bowl.) They have a lot of fun and score really well. I am not convinced that my child is more “college ready” than a thoughtful kid who is more into chess, or poker, and shines on long form, untimed research assignments or in class discussion.
