You can and will be kicked out for having a child without a "family care plan" that designates a willing caretaker for kids in the event of deployment. It has to have all the appropriate legal documents (power of attorney etc). They do not leave infants abandoned in their crib, ffs. And, it does provide life insurance for kids left behind from people being killed in combat. What people don't really understand is that we have very few people killed on deployments now because we have better medical care for combat wounds or massive injuries. Tbh, a soldier getting their legs blown off in combat has a better survival rate than a person getting their legs cut off in an accident in the states. We do not have the medical items here that the military has there. This has increased costs significantly because people who would have normally died now live and have a lifetime of medical care ahead of them. [/quote]
