I see that the kid could stay with dad while the mother is at the zoo, but why? WOuldn't it eb nice for your kid to have exposure to kids of varying ages? f you have more than one kid, the parents sometimes also need a break. Since the other mom is already on mom duty, why wouldn't the 12 year old come along -- because you feel like he doesn't want to?[/quote]
