And who is going to do the confiscations? You? The police in the Deep South states are not going to enforce any law regarding gun confiscations passed here in DC.

You can write all the crap you want on DCUM because it cost you nothing, and you do not have to back it up.

However, you do not have the guts to fly to Mobile, AL (or anyplace else in the Deep South) and start taking away people's guns. The people there are not going to give them up without a fight, and it is a fight you are not equipped to win.

DP...  I don't think confiscation would work.  But I would support a law that requires mandatory registration of every gun, and felony jail time and revocation of gun rights if you don't register.  That will separate the law-abiding gun owners from those who aren't.[/quote]
