I don’t think this at all. Young women can fairly easily find a same-aged guy to cohabitate with and share bills, and really beautiful women can find a successful same-aged guy to share bills with. It’s only the odd ones who skip peers and go to old fogies. Maybe it was different when you were my age but that’s what I observe as someone who is a peer of OP’s girlfriend.[/quote]

I was going to echo this exactly. I’m on the younger side (about to turn 30) so am speaking about what I witnessed in my early to mid 20s. PP is right - I’m not saying there are zero exceptions to this rule, but anyone I ever knew of who dated a much older man at that stage either had major daddy/mommy/family issues, or was just an odd bird. Not the type to have many friends, always been a little off, struggles socially. [/quote]
