The business/money stuff feels really dumb to me at this point. The one thing I did think was interesting was Kendall getting that call from the Skarsgård character about how he is never going to spend more and he'll walk away if they push him, and then immediately concluding they need to push him for more money. It's a toss up to me whether this is just the petulance of a child who gets mad when anyone tells him "no more cake" and, being a privileged baby who was minded by paid nannies instead of parents, is used to ultimately getting what he wants, OR if this is him displaying his dad's killer instinct and realizing that if this guy is worried enough to call, maybe that means he's at some disadvantage that can be exploited. Or maybe both are somehow true and the takeaway will be that being a demanding, entitled baby is actually the secret to success at this level. Or maybe they'll lose both the Gojo deal and, as a result, the Pierce deal, and be humiliated. I don't know but I thought that was the most interesting thing that happened in the episode, was Kendall taking that call outside on the stairs and then deciding to hear Stewy out.[/quote]
