[/quote] you’re a little bit confused. the home itself is larger in aldie, cause there’s bigger lots that allow for 5,6,7000 sq homes to built there. sure, a 6000 sqft home in aldie may be worth more than a 2,000 sqft home in arlington. but you can’t compare apples to apples without taking into account that the lot itself is worth triple in arlington than in aldie. lets say a 6000 sqft is about the same as a 2000 sqft home in arlington, if that home were 6000 sqft in arlington, it’s worth 3 times the home in aldie. i could buy an empty lot in warrenton and built a 10,000 sqft custom home, it would be worth more than the aldie and arlington home, despite the inconvenience.
