Maybe just everyone else right and you are wrong and it has nothing to do with Catholicism and bigotry but more with your little girl stomping of your feet and getting upset with us when we don't agree. Most of us will never agree that Notre Dame is right up there as an Ivy but when you claim that and are challenged you offer no citations except some irrelevant statistic about endowments. Then when challenged again you default to “Oh just stop!”  (I can hear the stomping of feet). Then you make another unsupportable bizarre assertion about Notre Dame having a “national brand virtually unmatched in higher education”. Oh really? That’s quite a claim! And without any supporting documentation! Then you cry “It’s not going anywhere” (more stomping of feet) “because I say so!” then the childish “oh you are all bad people because you hate Catholics” then calling us “laughable”. Maybe the problem is you and the infantile way you try to argue. Well, I’d say more but it’s getting late so tah dah for now![/quote]

Honestly, I don't know if endowment impacts ratings.  I really don't care.  But your rant and obsession about this is quite bizarre.

Is ND strong national brand?  Of course it is!!  It is known for both strong academics and athletics.  My kid loves having both in one school and yes he likes that it is Catholic.  We are observant Catholics and love having the beautiful basilica on campus, the grotto, and a rector in each dorm.  The warmth on campus is like nothing you will ever find at an institution with its stature.  But clearly you don't value these things.  And that's OK!
