SIL is the wild D-O-G, not me.

Me = work
SIL = no job

Me = breadwinner
SIL = doesn't contribute

Me = cook homemade meals for my family 6 days a week
SIL = doesn't cook anything

Me = reasonable weight
SIL = morbidly obese - because she refuses to cook!![/quote]

OP speaks truth.  It is I who said the SIL is horrible.  And she is.

She has children but won't cook them a meal, just feeds them frozen pizza and junk food?  She IS horrible.  She doesn't even work.  How can she not find the time to care for her children at least, let alone her husband with health issues?  This isn't all about her.  She isn't a Bachelorette. [/quote]

If only there was another parent around to help with meals… maybe like a father?

Or I guess an independent high schooler could probably work a stove themselves, but there is no reason the father can’t feed his kid if he’s that concerned.
