It's not just one talk, it's ongoing. While not sex, per se, my middle school had to get rid of bathroom stall doors because too much oral sex was going on. Fun times. It was mortifying to go to the bathroom as a girl in middle school without doors.
Oral sex is sex. It involves penetration of a person’s body, no matter how slight.
Oral is not sex.
Tbh that is a knee jerk reaction I have too. Except then I step back and realize that it's wholly based on my hetero perspective. There are women who never experience penetration from an actual penis in their whole lives, and other iterations of physical intimacy among myriad other couples etc, and in not world would we think of them as "virgins" in adult relationships. So the then I think we need to reevaluate these balcn and white definitions. I mean in the end this is an arbitrary line no matter where.its drawn
Very thought-provoking post! The part I bolded - I gave that some more thought, especially in light of posts I am increasingly seeing on this forum about today’s girls’ sleepovers / slumber parties. Tons of “fooling around” (sexually) happens now at girls’ sleepovers, especially with the explosion of acceptance of LGTBQI+ in schools. In my own daughters school, they reported “everybody is into it” - although when we discussed it further, they said they thought 25% to maybe 50% were actually part of LGTBQI+ in some way (it is, after all, a rather broad umbrella). Some fooling around at one or two sleepovers always happened, I’m told. But today is different. Then the realization hit home: Girls are not “fooling around” with each other; they are having sex with each other - and it is as equal to marital sex between married, lesbian women.
