Hospitalization data (for the US at least) is the most relevant and accurate in real time. Case numbers depend a lot on how much testing is being done and on testing cycle thresholds (for PCR tests), and death reporting gets backed up so that reported deaths on a given day typically include deaths from days/weeks/months earlier. US hospitalization data in real time has ended up tracking deaths/etc very, very well.[/quote]
